As we approach the end of another remarkable year, I am again proud and grateful for the achievements and milestones we have reached in 2024. Our latest newsletter offers a quick review of our journey over the past year, capturing the essence of our collective efforts and accomplishments.
This year has been significant for EthiQal in many ways. We attended 17 events, hosted or participated in 8 impactful webinars, and contributed R 315 000 to meaningful causes, such as Operation Healing Hands. These activities underscore our commitment to supporting the medical community and maintain and enhancing healthcare standards.
I am particularly excited to highlight our new partnership with iTOO, powered by Hollard. This collaboration represents a strategic step forward, enabling us to deliver even more innovative and comprehensive indemnity solutions to you, our valued clients. We are certainly bigger and stronger together, with big plans for the new year.
Our participation in society conferences, like the UCT Paediatric Refresher Course, the Surgicom private practice conference, the 70th Congress of the South African Orthopaedic Association, the SASOG convention, the APRASSA convention, among others, has provided us with invaluable opportunities to share knowledge and engage with leading minds in the industry. The webinars we hosted, covering crucial topics such as medical negligence risks, informed consent, and effective record-keeping, have been well-received, with participation numbers reflecting the growing interest and need for these discussions.
