Competition Rules:

1. The promoter of the competition is EthiQal.
2. The name of the competition is “Doctors’ Day 2021”.
3. The competition will run from 1 October 2021 until 25 November 2021.
4. The prizes comprise 5 x R1 000 prizes awarded to 5 individual winners.
5. The winners are chosen by a panel of judges and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7. The competition is open to all participants within the Republic of South Africa.
8. You are not eligible to participate in this competition if: a) You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of EthiQal, its affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the competition; b) You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 7 (a) above;
9. To enter the competition, a participant must submit their story and follow the proceeding instructions.
10. A winning story from the 2018, 2019 & 2020 competitions may not win again. A previous winner may submit a different story this year.
11. Winners will be drawn in the first week of December 2021 and announced on social media from 10 December 2020.
12. Winners will be notified via email or telephone. An alternative winner will be drawn if, after three attempted messages, EthiQal cannot reach the initial winner.
13. Winners will be requested to share the following details: name, surname, contact details, bank account details.
14. Winners must be in possession of a valid South African ID document or valid passport, and a bank account in their name.
15. Prizes are not transferable.
16. The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
17. EthiQal and their delivery agent do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this competition.
18. Winners give EthiQal and its authorised agents consent to use their names and winning stor y for publicity purposes.
19. EthiQal reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against EthiQal and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against EthiQal.
20. By participating in this competition, you consent to: (i) the processing of your personal information by EthiQal and other companies in the EthiQal, any other of their operators, agents and subcontractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential; (ii) the collection of your personal information from any other source to supplement the personal information which EthiQal has about you; (iii) the retention by EthiQal of your personal information for as long as permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, and marketing purposes; (iv) EthiQal using your personal information to send you information about products, services, and special offers of various companies in the EthiQal that may be of interest or value to you.
21. You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying EthiQal in writing or by registering a block on any registry which EthiQal is bound by law to recognise. EthiQal will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. EthiQal will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
22. All prizes are to be paid into a valid bank account. No cash will be paid out.
